Its low-build system can be considered for suitable renovation projects, subject to assessment of the existing substrate. It is a decorative finish, not a substitute for structural repair or waterproofing.

What is INCISE Microtopping?
It is a multi-layer decorative microcement system that creates a continuous mineral-look finish on appropriately prepared surfaces. It includes more than the visible decorative coat.
Can it be installed over existing tiles?
Sometimes. The tiles and substrate must be sound, stable and suitable. Preparation, priming and the final system should be confirmed after assessment.
How thick is the complete system?
The typical complete system is approximately 3–5 mm. The final thickness depends on the substrate and specified build-up.
Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?
Potentially, subject to project-specific assessment. Waterproofing, environmental exposure, drainage, slip resistance and the selected protective sealer are important considerations.
Who carries out installation?
Installation should be undertaken by trained, vetted applicators following the applicable INCISE system guidance. We can advise on available applicators and technical requirements; installation responsibilities are agreed separately.
