Its thin-layer microcement finish can renew suitable concrete or tiled surfaces after preparation. For exposed rooftops and wet areas, we specify the finish alongside the required waterproofing, drainage and protective sealer.

Durable microcement flooring begins beneath the surface. From indoor rooms to exposed rooftops, the substrate, coating layers and protective finish must work as one system.

Assessment & surface preparation

Assess stability, moisture and movement. For rooftops and wet areas, confirm waterproofing and drainage before applying the decorative finish.

Priming & Microtek coating

Prepare and prime the substrate, then apply the mineral-based Microtek layers to create the agreed smooth or textured finish.

Finish & protective sealing

Refine edges and transitions. Apply the specified sealer to protect against moisture, stains and wear; use an outdoor-grade system for exposed surfaces.

What is INCISE Microtek?

INCISE Microtek is a mineral-based microcement flooring system for indoor and outdoor surfaces. It creates a durable, continuous finish with natural colour and a choice of smooth or textured appearances.

Where can Microtek flooring be used?

Microtek is suitable for indoor floors and outdoor settings including rooftops, patios, verandahs, terraces and walkways. Each system is specified for the substrate, exposure and intended use.

Is INCISE Microtek waterproof?

Waterproof performance depends on the complete system. Microtek is finished with protective sealing against moisture; rooftops and wet areas also require the appropriate waterproofing, drainage and detailing beneath the decorative finish.

Can Microtek have a textured finish for better grip?

Yes. Microtek can be finished with texture, and its protective system can include an anti-slip additive. The texture and slip-resistance requirements should be specified for wet areas, walkways and outdoor use.

Can Microtek be applied over tiles or concrete?

Yes, where the existing surface is sound and suitable. Concrete and tiles must be assessed, prepared and primed before the microcement system is applied.

Who carries out installation?

Contact INCISE for technical guidance and information on trained, vetted applicators. The substrate, waterproofing where required, coating system and installation arrangements are agreed for each project.
