INCISE Crack Sealer — suitable application setting

INCISE Crack Sealer / High-strength two-component epoxy crack repair

Repair the crack.
Prepare for the finish.

A beautiful finish starts with the surface beneath it. INCISE Crack Sealer is a high-strength, two-component epoxy crack sealer designed to penetrate, fill and bond cracks in concrete floors and surfaces before decorative finishes are applied.

THE ROLE IN YOUR SYSTEM

A small crack deserves proper attention.

A fine line in the concrete can become a weak point beneath a decorative finish. INCISE Crack Sealer brings repair into the preparation stage: penetrating, filling and bonding suitable cracks to create a strong, durable repair before the next layers are applied. Treat the cause, assess the crack and build the finish on a properly prepared surface.

WHERE IT BELONGS

Selected for the surface.
Specified for the space.

Hairline & fine cracks

For suitable cracks in concrete floors and surfaces, with crack condition and the appropriate repair method assessed before work starts.

Before microcement & decorative finishes

Repair suitable substrate cracks before the specified primer, decorative coating and final protective layers are applied.

Concrete refurbishment

Part of a considered preparation sequence for existing concrete surfaces that need repair before receiving a new finish.

APPLICATION OVERVIEW

Prepare.
Apply.
Build the system.

This overview explains the sequence. Use the current technical datasheet for product-specific instructions.

01

Assess & prepare

Assess the crack and its cause. Check for movement, moisture and substrate condition, then clean and prepare the repair area as specified.

02

Apply as specified

Mix the two components at the ratio in the current datasheet. Apply using the specified method to penetrate, fill and bond the crack.

03

Complete the system

Allow the specified cure, remove any excess and prepare the repair flush with the surrounding surface. Continue with the compatible primer and decorative finish.

INCISE Crack Sealer — concrete after crack repair and before decorative finish

AFTER REPAIR / BEFORE THE FINISH

Repair first. Finish with confidence.

After curing and finishing flush, a narrow repair trace may remain visible in the concrete. This is the prepared substrate, ready for the next specified layers—not the final decorative surface. Correct crack assessment and preparation are fundamental to the build-up.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before you begin.

Can it repair hairline cracks?

Yes. INCISE Crack Sealer is intended for suitable hairline and other cracks in concrete floors and surfaces. Confirm the crack condition, size and application method with the technical instructions.

Is this the same as the final surface sealer?

No. Crack Sealer is a substrate repair product. It is used before the decorative finish. A compatible final sealer is selected separately for surface protection.

Will the repair stop every crack from returning?

The repair should follow assessment of the cause and any ongoing movement. Active, moving or structural cracks need an appropriate repair design; filling a crack alone does not resolve every underlying cause.

When can I apply the primer and decorative finish?

After the repair has reached the specified cure and the surface has been prepared for the next layer. Use the current datasheet for mixing, working time, curing and overcoating requirements.
