A premium outdoor floor begins with the system beneath it. Substrate preparation, drainage, the decorative finish and protective sealing all contribute to the result.
Assess & prepare
Assess the concrete, repair suitable defects and prepare a sound base. Confirm falls, movement joints and any underlying waterproofing required for rooftops, splash aprons or wet areas.
Build the finish & detail
Apply the specified Patio build-up and develop the selected texture. Introduce stencil patterns, borders or decorative details as part of the finishing process.
Cure & protect
Allow the system to cure, then apply the specified UV-stable, water-repellent sealer. Confirm wet-area texture and maintenance requirements before the surface enters use.

What is INCISE Patio?
INCISE Patio is a premium cement-based decorative finish for outdoor floors. It combines mineral colour, a choice of textures and protective sealing for patios, verandahs, pool surrounds and other exterior spaces.
Is INCISE Patio UV-resistant and waterproof?
The Patio system uses UV-stable, water-repellent protective sealing for outdoor exposure. Waterproof performance depends on the complete build-up: rooftops and wet areas require the appropriate underlying waterproofing, drainage and detailing alongside the decorative finish.
Can Patio be used around swimming pools?
Yes, it can be specified for swimming pool surrounds. The selected texture, protective sealer and drainage should be assessed for wet conditions and barefoot use. Patio is an outdoor floor finish; the pool interior requires its own suitable system.
Can I choose different textures or use stencils?
Yes. INCISE Patio supports different textures and decorative treatments. Stencils can introduce patterns, borders and geometric layouts, with the final design and texture confirmed through samples.
Can it be applied over existing concrete?
Suitable existing concrete can be considered after assessment and preparation. The base must be sound, stable and correctly detailed. For rooftops and splash aprons, waterproofing and falls are addressed before the decorative finish.
How do I maintain an INCISE Patio floor?
Clean regularly to remove dirt and debris, and follow the care guidance for the selected sealer. Inspect the protective finish and arrange resealing when required by exposure and use. Our team can advise on the maintenance specification.
